Sawn timber is produced at the high-tech sites located in Siberia and in the North-West of Russia. The feedstock for production is characterized by stability and high quality.
Up to 70% of Segezha Group's demand for timber feedstock for the production of sawn timber is provided by its own logging operations in Arkhangelsk and Vologda Regions, the Republic of Karelia, and Krasnoyarsk Krai.
We can guarantee the necessary volume and the consistently high quality of the feedstock base thanks to our in-house logging.
Feedstock is cut on a sawmill line using high-tech equipment. Sawn timber is produced through a cutting process.
Sawn timber is dried in BOLLMANN (Germany), MULBOK (Italy), Jartek (Finland), Baschild (Italy) drying chambers to the ultimate humidity of 12±2%.
